Syd Fini lives in Brooklyn with his wife, who is a puppet-maker and painter. He was born in Iran during the eight-year-long Iran-Iraq war and spent most of his time indoors, drawing pictures from his favorite movies and animations. That sense of visual storytelling led him to start his career as a storyboard artist for feature films at the age of eighteen....
