Nisrine Mbarki

Nisrine Mbarki (b. 1977) is a Dutch writer of Moroccan descent, a poet, columnist, and literary translator of Arabic poetry into Dutch. She is also an editor and programmer for the Winternachten Festival. She writes short stories, theater scripts, and poetry. Her poems and columns are regularly published in Dutch literary magazines....

In January 2022 she published her debut collection of poetry, Oeverloos (Boundless), for which she was nominated for the C. Buddingh’ Prize for the best Dutch-language poetry debut of the year and the Herman de Coninck Prize for the best Dutch-language poetry collection of the year.
