Elizabeth Heighway holds a BA in philosophy and modern languages from the University of Oxford an MA in translation studies from Birmingham University. She translates from Georgian and French. She has translated, edited, and proofread academic articles and books, websites, PhD and Masters dissertations, project outlines, press releases, novels, pharmaceutical documentation, poetry, museum guides, and more. She is the translator of the collection Contemporary Georgian Fiction (Dalkey Archive Press, 2012), a member of the Translators Association, a career affiliate of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting, and an associate of the Society for Editor and Proofreaders.
