Rosie Louise Hedger

Rosie Hedger is a literary translator from Norwegian into English. Rosie’s most recent work includes novels by Helga Flatland (2019) and Gine Cornelia Pedersen (2018), and her translation of Agnes Ravatn’s The Bird Tribunal received an English PEN Translates Award in 2016, with the book selected for BBC Radio 4’s Book at Bedtime. Rosie was a candidate in the British Centre for Literary Translation’s mentoring scheme for emerging translators in 2012, mentored by Don Bartlett. Having lived in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark, she is now based in the UK.
