Pema Bhum

Pema Bhum is one of the most respected writers working today in the Tibetan language. He has published two Tibetan memoirs of the Cultural Revolution. His first memoir, Six Stars with a Crooked Neck, was published by Tibet Times. His second memoir (tentative English title: Remembering Dorje Tsering) was published by Amnye Machen Institute in Dharamsala, India, of which Bhum is a founding director. Bhum has also authored several academic papers on Tibetan literature and taught at Northwest Nationalities University in Lanzhou and Indiana University. He is the director of the Latse Tibetan Contemporary Library in New York.
