Nicholas T Rinehart is a scholar, critic, and translator based in NYC. He earned a PhD in English at Harvard University and previously worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Society of Fellows at Dartmouth College. His work focuses on Black literature in the Americas and the comparative history of Atlantic slavery and has been published in a number of scholarly and non-academic venues, including Art in America, Asymptote, Commonplace, Los Angeles Review of Books, and Public Books.
