Mourad Kadiri was born in Sale, Morocco, in 1965. A poet who writes in Moroccan Arabic, he is a member of Morocco’s Writers’ Union and a member of the executive committee of the House of Poetry in Morocco. He has published four collections of poems: Letters of the Palm (1995); Spinning Girl (2005); Bird of God (2007); and Tramway (2015).
