Maruxa Relaño Tennent is a Spanish-American journalist and translator
based in Barcelona. As a hybrid or, as Obama would say, a “mutt,” she
has always had one foot in both worlds....

During her eight years living in Queens, New York, she worked as a translator for The Wall Street Journal, a writer for NY1, and wrote articles for the New York Daily News, Newsday, and New York magazine, among other publications. She holds an MA in international Relations from the New School and a BA in journalism from the University of South Carolina.
