Ghada Mourad teaches French and Francophone studies and Arabic literature in translation at the University of California, Irvine, and California State University, Fullerton. She translates from Arabic and French. Her translations have appeared in various US literary journals and magazines. The Last Syrian, her first book-length translation, is scheduled to be published by Seagull Books in spring 2024.
