Fernando Paiva

Fernando Paiva was born in 1977 in Rio de Janeiro, where he still resides. He is the author of a novel, Carta para Ana Camerinda (Ibis Libris, 2004) and a collection of short stories, Salvem os monstros (7Letras, 2010). He is also a composer and guitarist for the band Luisa mandou um beijo, an indie-rock band with two albums released in Brazil. A journalism graduate of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Paiva currently works as a journalist. This is the first English translation of his work.
