Diane Oatley has extensive experience with many different forms of artistic expression, working with dance, as a translator from Norwegian, and as a writer of fiction and nonfiction. She received NORLA’s 2014 Translator’s Award. Her most recent translations include The Weather Changed, Summer Came and So On by Pedro Carmona-Alvarez; Winter Stories by Ingrid H. Rishøi; Secrets of the Snout by Frank Rosell; and Catching Thunder: The Story of the World’s Longest Sea Chase by Eskil Engdal and Kjetil Sæter.
