Bruce Thomson has worked on numerous Nordic language translation projects within a wide variety of genres. He was selected for the 2018 Emerging Translator’s Mentorship Programme organized by the National Centre for Writing in Norwich. His translation of Benedicte Maurseth’s To Be Nothing: Conversations with Knut Hamre, Hardanger Fiddle Master was published in 2019.
