Bergrún Anna Hallsteinsdóttir is an artist and writer who grew up in the South Island of New Zealand with Icelandic/New Zealand parents. She completed a BFA at the Icelandic Academy of Arts and has recently concluded an MA in visual and media anthropology at Freie Universitat Berlin. She is also a mental health support worker and the co-editor of the annual art/poetry publication Murder Magazine.
