Born in 1972 in Tripoli, Lebanon, Barrack Rima lives in Brussels. She is a comics artist, filmmaker, and member of Samandal, a comics association in Beirut. She has also directed a short film and a documentary: Souvenir from Beirut (fiction, 12 min, 1999) and The Land of 48 (documentary, 57 min, 2003).
