Babeth Fonchie Fotchind

Babeth Fonchie Fotchind (b. 1993) is a Dutch lawyer and poet whose parents moved to the Netherlands from Cameroon. She has published in Kluger Hans, De Revisor, De Groene Amsterdammer, DWB, De Gids, and Elle, among others. She was also the in-house poet for online feminist magazine Lilith Mag. She was selected for the deBuren’s writing residency and a Dutch Foundation for Literature Fellowship. In 2022, her debut poetry collection, Plooi/Fold, was published by De Geus.
