Anita Felicelli is the author of Chimerica: A Novel and Love Songs for a Lost Continent, a short story collection which won the 2016 Mary Roberts Rinehart Fiction Award. Her short stories have appeared, most recently, in the Massachusetts Review, Air/Light, and Midnight Breakfast. Her essays and criticism have appeared in the Washington Post, Slate, Catapult, the Los Angeles Review of Books, and the San Francisco Chronicle. She is the editor of Alta Journal’s California Book Club and the National Book Critics Circle’s fiction committee chair for ’22.
