Adel Tincelin has worked as a translator and a photographer, taking many photographs of the housing estates in and around Paris and co-creating images with the inhabitants of a shantytown in southern Île-de-France....

Their publications include Archives 01 and Archives 02 : La Rénovation urbaine en Île-de-France (Éditions illimitées, 2012 and 2014) ; La Place Ris-Orangis (Éditions illimitées, 2013) ; and On n’a que deux vies, Journal d’un transboy (Éditions Cambourakis, 2019). They are cotranslating feminist and activist texts including The Faggots and their Friends between Revolutions by Larry Mitchell and Ned Asta and Rewriting the Rules: An Anti Self-Help Guide to Love, Sex and Relationships by Meg-John Barker. They live near Bure, in eastern France, where inhabitants and activists have been fighting a vast project of nuclear waste burial for thirty years.
