Michael Emmerich

Michael Emmerich is currently a fellow in the Society of Fellows in the Liberal Arts at Princeton University and an assistant professor in the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultural Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He has translated numerous books from Japanese, including most recently Matsuura Rieko's Apprenticeship of Big Toe P, forthcoming from Kodansha International in 2009.
