Lisa Dillman translates from the Spanish and Catalan and teaches at Emory University in Atlanta. Recent translations include The Mule, by Juan Eslava Galán, and Op Oloop, by Juan Filloy, which was longlisted for the Best Translated Fiction 2010 award. Her translation of Christopher Domínguez Michael's Critical Dictionary of Mexican Literature and of the Sabina Berman novel La mujer que buceó en el corazón del mundo (tentative English title: Me) will be published 2012. She's currently translating two novels by Mexican writer Yuri Herrera and seeking a publisher for her translation of Andrés Barba's novel Such Small Hands.
