FLYP takes a look at the “Literature of Immigration” in its latest issue and features short interviews with the participants at the WWB- and Americas Society-sponsored event at the Americas Society in New York City last October. The event featured Neil Bissoondath, Marjorie Agosin and WWB author Amara Lakhous in a discussion moderated by author, translator, human rights activist and WWB contributor Suzanne Ruta.
You can read an excerpt from Lakhous's book Clash of Civilizations Over an Elevator in Piazza Vittorio on WWB over here.
Also be sure to check out Suzanne Ruta's fantastic interview with Amara Lakhous, from our October 2008 issue on immigration.
