Xi Wa

Award-winning writer Xi Wa was born in Tibet and now lives in Beijing. She has published a poetry collection, I’ll Send You Pieces of Myself, and the novels Beyond Heaven Is Shanghai, Lovers First, and Beijing Will Make You Weep. Her series of poems “Perhaps: Love Poems” is now part of Taiwan University’s language arts curriculum. Her work has been translated into many languages.
