Vinicius Jatobá

Vinicius Jatobá was born in Rio de Janeiro. He has written criticism for leading Brazilian newspapers, including O Estado de S. Paulo and O Globo, and for magazines such as Carta Capital and Bravo. His collection of short stories Apenas o vento [Only the wind] will be published later in 2013. He is currently at work on his first novel, Pés Descalços [Barefoot], to be published next year, and on the novellas Elegia [Elegy] and A seguinte estória [The following story]. His short story "Still Life" was published in Granta's Best of Young Brazilian Novelists edition.
