Victor Terán

Victor Terán was born in Juchitán, Oaxaca, in 1958. He has received recognition and a grant from FONACULTA (National Foundation for Art and Culture). Carlos Montemayor, the critic, translator, and anthologist of contemporary indigenous literature, described Terán as one of the most accomplished of Mexico's younger poets.
