Valter Hugo Mãe

Valter Hugo Mãe (Portugal) has published seven books of poetry and three novels (most recently folclore íntimo); edited anthologies of the poets Manoel de Barros, José Régio, and Adília Lopes, among others; and has translated works from Italian and Spanish. He is included in Best European Fiction 2010. He also dabbles in art: his first show,“the face of gregor samsa,” took place in Porto in 2006.
