Tania Tamari Nasir

Tania Tamari Nasir was born in Jerusalem in 1941 and holds a bachelor's degree in English literature and fine arts from the Beirut College for Women (now Lebanese American University). She is the co-author of Palestinian Embroidery: Fallahi Cross-Stitch (Munich: Ethnographic Museum, 1990) and the author of "Spring is Here:" Embroidered Flowers of the Palestinian Spring (Ramallah: Turbo Design and The Institute for Jerusalem Studies, 2003) and has translated the work of several prominent Arab writers. She is also a classical singer with a focus on experimental modern Arabic art songs. She lives in Birzeit, Palestine.
