Svetlana Žuchová (b. 1976) is a practicing psychiatrist, writer, and columnist. After studying in Vienna, she worked in Prague and is currently based in Munich, Germany. She has published short stories and three novels. Her latest novel, Obrazy zo života M [Scenes from the life of M, 2013], was shortlisted for the Anasoft Litera Prize. Most of her books focus on the lives of young European immigrants in Western Europe post-1989.
