Susan Wan Dolling

Susan Wan Dolling was born and raised in Hong Kong, studied in Japan for two years, and received an A.B. in English and Creative Writing and a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature, all from Princeton. She has taught at various universities and now lives and works in Austin, Texas. Her most recent publications include short stories in the Columbia Anthology of Modern Chinese Literature, Family Catastrophes (University Hawaii Press), a booklength translation of Wang Wen-hsing's Modernist classic, and the short story "Huan Niang" in the "Ghosts" issue of Two Lines.
