Simon Wickham-Smith was born in England in 1968.  He has translated the work of many leading Mongolian writers and in 2008 was honored as a Leading Cultural Worker by the Mongolian government.  He is also the recipient of a PEN International Translation award for his work on O. Dashbalbar.
