Sharon May

Sharon May researched the Khmer Rouge regime for Columbia University’s Center for the Study of Human Rights and co-edited In the Shadow of Angkor: Contemporary Writing from Cambodia (University of Hawai‘i Press). Her fiction has appeared in Best New American Voices, the Chicago Tribune, Tin House, Mānoa, StoryQuarterly, Other Voices, and elsewhere. She is the recipient of the Robie McCauley Award, the Julia Peterkin Award, and a Wallace Stegner Fellowship in Fiction at Stanford University. She has just completed a novel set in Cambodia, the refugee camps, and Australia.
