Samuel Solleiro

Samuel Solleiro is a Galician writer, translator, and musician born in Tui in 1982. A guitarist for the renowned Galician-language band Ataque Escampe, he has translated the work of Marcel Schwob, Mary Shelley, and Raymond Radiguet into Galician....

He is the author of three books of short stories—Elegies to God and the Devil (2001), jz, or the book of sperm (2006), and Great White Shark (2012). In addition, he was selected as one of thirteen authors in a recent anthology of important young voices in Galician poetry, and has published two collections: Punk (2013) and the widely lauded The World of the Living (2019).
