Roseann Lake is an American/Spanish journalist perhaps best known for her work on China and a book she wrote during the five years she spent living and working in Beijing.
Now that she's back in the US, China is always on her mind, and it is a place she writes about and visits as often as possible, though her reporting focus now also includes Cuba, on which she reports for The Economist. She is currently at work on a second book about China that she hopes to finish before the year of the dragon.
