Ricardo Romero was born in Entre Ríos, Argentina, in 1976. He served as director of the literary magazine Oliverio between 2003 and 2006. He has published numerous books, including, most recently, Historia de Roque Rey (2014), La habitación del Presidente (2015), and El conserje y la eternidad (2017).
Romero currently lives in Buenos Aires and works as an editor at two Argentine publishing houses, Gárgola Ediciones and Negro Absoluto. He teaches at the Universidad Nacional de las Artes and offers courses at the National Library. His work has been translated into English, Portuguese, French, and Italian.
