Ray Edwards

Ray Edwards began to learn Cornish after taking early retirement from teaching languages in 1980. After passing the three examinations of the Cornish Language Board and being made a Bard of Cornwall, he was asked to run a correspondence course in the language, which he did until it was taken over by a former student in 2001....

He contributes frequently to An Gannas (The Messenger), the monthly Cornish language magazine, and later this year will complete the task of editing the main historical texts on which our knowledge of Cornish is based.
