Rahel Asgedom Zere

Rahel Asgedom Zere is a poet and novelist.  She holds a BA from the University of Asmara and an MA in African literature from UCLA, and taught literature at the Universit of Asmara for four years.  She has worked with the British Council and Eritrea’s Ministry of Education, and has published a children book, Colorful Stories (2003); a book of poems and short stories, Some Sweetly Kept Thoughts (2005); and a novel, Before She Breaks My Heart (2008), all by Hdri Publishers, Asmara.
