Pooja Shankar was a communications intern at Words Without Borders in Fall 2016. Originally from Bengaluru in India, she completed her MA in English literature at Long Island University Post. As a wandering soul in the abundantly rich universe, she seeks to discover the hidden dimensions of the world. Through books, writing, yoga, meditation, and her innate curiosity to uncover the revelations of life, she believes she gets closer each day in her exploration of the truth, beyond the capabilities of a simple, materialistic mind. Through her writing, she hopes to capture the spellbinding enigma of the creation around us in words.
