Phu Kradat is the nom de plume of Thanat Thammakaew, born 1977 and raised in northeastern Thailand. He received a degree in agriculture from the Ubon Ratchathani University’s Department of Animal Science. He is the author of two volumes of short stories, a collection of poems, and the novel Nerathet (“Exile”), which has received many positive reviews and is currently being translated into English.
