Paulo Lemos Horta

Paulo Lemos Horta is a writer, translator, and literary historian. Born in Budapest to Brazilian parents, he is currently a resident of Abu Dhabi and Barcelona. He is the author of Marvellous Thieves: Secret Authors of the Arabian Nights (Harvard), Aladdin: A New Translation, with Yasmine Seale (Liveright/Norton, a Buzzfeed Best Book of the Year), and Cosmopolitanisms (NYU), with Bruce Robbins. His writing has appeared in the Times Literary Supplement and the Los Angeles Review of Books and has been translated into French, Portuguese, Turkish, and soon Chinese.
