Paul Tavo (b. 1983) is a poet, novelist, and teacher from Lamap, south Malekula, Vanuatu. Read More He holds a BA in French literature from the University of New Caledonia and an MA in European literature from the University of Aix-en-Provence, France, and began doctoral studies at the University of New Caledonia in partnership with the University of Bordeaux and the University of Paris Sorbonne before returning to Vanuatu in 2018. He has published two collections of poetry, L’âme du kava and Incandescences de la pirogue, and a novel, Quand le cannibale ricane.
