Patrick Barron

Patrick Barron is Associate Professor of English at The University of Massachusetts, Boston. He has published a number of books of translations from Italian to English, including The Selected Poetry and Prose of Andrea Zanzotto, Haiku for a Season by Andrea Zanzotto, and Italian Environmental Literature: An Anthology. He recently finished translating Gianni Celati’s Verso la foce, a portion of which appears in Italica. He has also published numerous scholarly articles, reviews, and poems, and most recently, the edited collection of essays Terrain Vague: Interstices at the Edge of the Pale.
