Patrícia Martinho Ferreira is a professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she teaches Portuguese-language literature, film, and culture. She holds a PhD in Portuguese and Brazilian Studies from Brown University and is the author of Órfãos do Império: Heranças Coloniais na Literatura Portuguesa Contemporânea (2021).
