Olga Pogodina-Kuzmina was born in Siberia and lives in St. Petersburg, Russia. She studied at the Sаint Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy. She writes for stage and screen, and is an active participant in the New Drama theater festival. Her first “gay” play, “marmalada.ru,” received the 2004 New Drama Prize for young playwrights in St. Petersburg. She was an invited guest at the 2008 Singapore Fringe Festival. She cowrote the screenplay for the 2014 film “Two Women” and a wartime drama called “Geroy,” to be released in 2016.
