Noor Zaheer

Noor Zaheer is a writer and researcher working in English, Hindi, and Urdu. Her published works include My God is a Woman, The Dancing Lama, Denied by Allah, and At Home in Enemy Land. She is a committed theater worker who writes, directs, and translates plays in addition to conducting theater workshops. She is the president of the Indian People’s Theatre Association, the national secretary of the National Federation of Indian Women, and a recipient of the Times Fellowship and a Senior Fellowship from India’s Department of Culture.
