Mónica de la Torre

Mónica de la Torre is coeditor of Reversible Monuments: Contemporary Mexican Poetry (Copper Canyon Press). Her full-length poetry collections include Public Domain (2008) and Talk Shows (2007). She has also published the chapbooks Four (Switchback) and The Happy End (Song Cave). With artist Terence Gower, she is author of Appendices, Illustrations and Notes (Smart Art Press). De la Torre’s honors include a New York Foundation for the Arts fellowship. She has edited BOMB Magazine and the Brooklyn Rail. She is pursuing a PhD in Latin American literature at Columbia University and lives in Brooklyn.
