Mihaela Mudure

Mihaela Mudure is professor of English Literature at Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj, Romania. She has published extensively in Romanian and international journals. Among her translations are Proverbe româneşti/Romanian Proverbs ( 2003), translated with Richard Proctor; Matéo Maximoff. The Price of Freedom (2005), translated from French into Romanian, with preface and notes; Barbu Constantinescu. Probe de limba şi literatura tiganilor din Romania/Specimens from the Language and the Literature of the Gypsies in Romania (2005); and Investigative Journalism (2006) (foreword, notes, and translation from English into Romanian by Mihaela Mudure). Her next project is to translate into Romanian the first Canadian novel: Frances Brooke's The History of Emily Montague.
