Michelle Woods

Michelle Woods is the author of Kafka Translated (2013), Censoring Translation (2012), and Translating Milan Kundera (2006), as well as numerous articles on the translation of Czech literature and film. Her translation of Adolf Hoffmeister’s 1929 interview and translation lesson with James Joyce, “Game of Evenings,” was published in Granta in 2005. She is an Assistant Professor of English at SUNY New Paltz.
