Michael F. Moore

Michael F. Moore is the former chair of the Translation Committee of the PEN America Center and of the Advisory Board of the PEN-Heim Translation Fund. For many years he was an interpreter on the staff of the Italian Mission to the United Nations. His translations from Italian include, most recently, a new translation of the classic historical novel The Betrothed, by Alessandro Manzoni, coming out in Fall 2022 from the Modern Library.
