Margalit Rodgers is a translator of contemporary Hebrew literature and plays, including works for children and young adults. She was born in Kibbutz Beit Haemek, Israel, in 1957. On completing her high school studies and military service she traveled extensively and then settled in London, where she lived for some ten years. She returned to Israel and to the kibbutz in 1992, graduated from the Beit Berl Academic College Department of Translation in 2000, and has since gained a reputation as a freelance translator with eclectic fields of interest.
