Born in Lebanon, Maia Tabet is a sometime literary translator and a professional cook, now living in the USA. She is the translator of Khoury's first novel to be published in English, Little Mountain, and of White Masks (forthcoming). She has also translated excerpts of poetry by the Syrian poet, Adonis.
