Antología de la crónica en México, edited by Carlos Monsiváis (2006) and Los mejores ensayos mexicanos 2005, edited by Joaquín Mortiz. She is the recipient of the 2010 Premio Nacional Fernando Benítez de Periodismo Cultura, the 2007 Premio SIP de Excelencia Periodística, and the 2005 Premio Nacional de Crónica Urbana Manuel Gutiérrez Nájera UACM.
