Linda Yohannes is an Ethiopian fiction and nonfiction writer. Her works include a young adult novel, The School Newspaper (2012); short stories; and feature articles in Jalada Africa, AFREADA, Brittle Paper, and Ethiopia Insight. Her short story is included in Addis Ababa Noir (2020), an anthology edited by Maaza Mengiste. Her short story "First Writing to a New Center" is forthcoming in Transition Magazine (2021). She lives in Addis Ababa, where she is parenting, working, studying, and writing a novel set during the Ethio-Eritrean War of 1998–2000.
